Key Curriculum Components and Elements
Brain Booster Holiday Programme
At Brain Booster, our Holiday Programme offers the perfect blend of fun, play, and learning, designed to reward students for their hard work and dedication during the school term. We believe that holidays are a time for students to recharge, but we also recognise the importance of maintaining academic momentum, which is why our programme is thoughtfully structured to combine enjoyment with educational growth.
Throughout the holiday period, students will have the opportunity to engage in exciting outdoor activities that bring them closer to nature and encourage stronger peer bonding. These experiences are designed to foster teamwork, cooperation, and personal growth, all while having fun in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
At the same time, we understand the value of academic consistency. To ensure that learning continues even during the break, we incorporate holiday assignments that help students stay engaged with their studies. These tasks are designed to be both stimulating and manageable, reinforcing key concepts and encouraging independent learning.
To add even more excitement, our programme includes a variety of excursions and creative craft activities. These experiences are not only enjoyable but also provide hands-on learning opportunities, allowing students to explore new environments, develop new skills, and spark their creativity.
Our Holiday Programme strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and learning, offering students a well-rounded experience that nurtures both their academic and personal development.

School Holiday Curriculum
Weather and Safety Guidelines for Outdoor Playtime
- For safety reasons, students are required to wear the centre uniform, proper footwear, and bring a water bottle to participate. Students may be required to stay indoors if these requirements are not met.
- Outdoor playtime will be cancelled in cases of inclement weather or poor air quality.
Lunch Arrangements
- For students arriving after 11:30am who will require lunch, please notify us by 10:00am so that we can ensure a portion is prepared for them. Lunch service will be available until 2:00pm. If a student arrives after 11:30am without prior notification and no extra lunch is available, parents will need to make alternative arrangements for their child’s meal.
Student Responsibilities
- Students are responsible for bringing all necessary materials, including assignments, enrichment activities, spelling lists, and e-learning login details. We encourage parents to assist in ensuring that all required items are brought to school. We kindly seek your understanding that the Centre cannot be held liable for any forgotten, incomplete, or misplaced items.
Home-Based Learning (HBL)
- Should Home-Based Learning (HBL) be implemented on the day, the schedule and workload will be adjusted in accordance with the HBL guidelines.
- Planned activities may be subject to change, and outdoor playtime may be cancelled if timing constraints arise.
Mandatory Tasks
- Students will be allocated time to work on mandatory tasks during the following periods:
- Early Morning: 7:30am to 9:30am
- Midday: 1:00pm to 3:00pm
- Late Afternoon: 4:30pm to 5:30pm
- These tasks encompass school holiday assignments, e-learning activities, upcoming and advanced 听写 / spelling, enrichment activities, and any parent-assigned work.
- Students are expected to continue with these tasks during the designated periods if they have outstanding work.
English and Chinese Spelling Review
- Spelling reviews will take place every Friday and on the last day of the holiday break.
- To ensure your child is prepared, please ensure that they bring their spelling list to the centre.
- If your child is absent on the last non-school day or forgets to bring their list, we kindly encourage you to review the material with them the day before the test.
- Please be advised that the centre cannot be held liable if a student is unable to complete the revision or review due to forgetting, misplacing the spelling list, or providing incorrect date information.
Additional Activities and Programmes
- In addition to the established curriculum, supplementary activities, programmes, and excursions will be implemented on designated days.
- For certain events, programmes, or excursions, a consent form will be provided through the Little Lives Family Room, requiring parental approval for their child’s participation. Students will be eligible to participate in these activities if they have no outstanding mandatory tasks.
Early Check-ins and Additional Charges
- Early check-ins before 11:30am will incur additional fees:
- $6 per day without breakfast

Holiday Booklet
- A new holiday booklet will be distributed on the first day of the holiday period. If students complete the booklet within the week, a new booklet will be issued at the beginning of the following week. Please note that booklets will be returned even if some sections remain incomplete by the end of the holiday. The holiday booklet is intended as a review tool, and upon the resumption of school, priority will return to the Brain Booster booklet for core revision activities.
Parent-Assigned and External Enrichment Activities
- To maintain consistency, the centre does not engage in tasks or enrichment activities assigned by parents, due to variations in techniques. We will prioritize school-related tasks and activities. Although we do not oversee the completion or quality of parent-assigned and enrichment tasks, we will encourage students to work on them.

- Students are not permitted to utilise the centre’s devices for external enrichment programs or personal tasks.
