At Brain Booster, we offer a holistic Student Care Programme designed to support and nurture your child’s growth and development beyond the classroom. Our programme is tailored to meet the needs of each student, providing a balanced environment where academic learning and personal well-being go hand in hand.

We focus on creating a positive and engaging atmosphere that encourages children to take ownership of their learning and develop strong life skills. Through structured activities, students not only reinforce academic concepts but also build confidence, independence, and responsibility. Our team of dedicated educators and caregivers ensures that each child receives individual attention, fostering a sense of belonging and personal growth.

Outdoor playground sessions will be scheduled bi-weekly, with dates adjusted according to homework demands. Students must fulfil all school tasks, English and Chinese spelling revisions, and online assignments to participate.

Student Responsibilities

  • Students are responsible for bringing all necessary materials, including assignments, enrichment activities, spelling lists, and e-learning login details. We encourage parents to assist in ensuring that all required items are brought to school. We kindly seek your understanding that the Centre cannot be held liable for any forgotten, incomplete, or misplaced items.

Parent-Assigned and External Enrichment Activities

  • To maintain consistency, the centre does not engage in tasks or enrichment activities assigned by parents, due to variations in techniques. We will prioritize school-related tasks and activities. Although we do not oversee the completion or quality of parent-assigned and enrichment tasks, we will encourage students to work on them.

Task Prioritisation

  • The schedule provided is a guideline only, and the actual time required may exceed the estimated duration. Students are expected to complete mandatory tasks in the order of priority, with the most important tasks addressed first.
  • In the case of late dismissal, students should prioritise and begin with the essential tasks, regardless of the time constraints.
  • Mandatory tasks will be allocated in the following priority order:
    1. School-written homework
    2. School-assigned tasks
    3. 听写 / Spelling Review
    4. E-Learning
    5. Brain Booster Booklet
    6. Parent-Assigned and External Enrichment Assignments

English and Chinese Spelling Review

  • Upcoming spelling revisions will be conducted 7 to 14 days in advance. Students are also required to study the spelling list following the upcoming one for additional revision.
  • Spelling review for the upcoming test will be conducted one day prior to the actual test.
    1. For instance, if the test is scheduled for Monday, the review will occur on the preceding Friday. Parents are encouraged to review the material with their child over the weekend.
    2. If your child is absent on the review day or forgets their spelling list, we kindly encourage parents to review the material with them at home prior to the test.
  • Please be advised that the centre cannot be held liable if a student is unable to complete the revision or review due to forgetting, misplacing the spelling list, or providing incorrect date information.

Device Usage Policy

  • The devices at the centre are to be used exclusively for school-related activities.
  • Students are not permitted to utilise the centre’s devices for external enrichment programs or personal tasks.

Weather and Safety Guidelines for Outdoor Playtime

  • Outdoor playground sessions will be scheduled bi-weekly, with dates adjusted based on homework demands.
  • Specific dates and details will be communicated through the Little Lives Family Room.
  • Students must be in Brain Booster uniform, wear proper footwear, and bring a water bottle to participate.
  • Outdoor playtime will be cancelled in cases of inclement weather or poor air quality.

Sensory Art

Art and craft activities, enhance creativity, exploration, and cognitive development,
fostering self-expression and sensory awareness.
