Throughout my time in Brain Booster, I have cultivated confidence, discipline, and independence. It all began at Paya Lebar Methodist Girls’ School. The support and guidance from student leaders played a pivotal role in helping me acclimate to the environment and find my footing in this student care program. As I grew accustomed to my surroundings, I forged strong bonds with fellow students, forming friendship that I know will endure the test of time.
The trainers have been incredibly supportive and encouraging throughout my journey. Whenever I’ve felt unsure or encountered difficulties, they have patiently explained concepts and provided methods to solve problems. Thanks to their guidance, both my academic performance and character have undergone positive transformation over time. They have taught me numerous character traits, including discipline, perseverance, and more. Among them, discipline stands out as particularly significant to me. Their teachings have underscored its importance, and they have consistently guided me, correcting me whenever I falter or fail to behave appropriately. I always eagerly anticipate the delicious lunches they have prepared every day. It’s bittersweet to think about leaving the student care programme I have been a part of since Primary 1, but I am truly grateful for everything Brain Booster has done for me.
